01

What this policy covers

This policy covers trewhosting.com, the Trew Hosting Windows and macOS applications, customer accounts, licensing, support, and shared server access. Trew Hosting is a local control center: game-server files, worlds, mods, configuration files, backups, and console history normally remain on the host computer unless the user intentionally exports, shares, or backs them up elsewhere.

02

Information we process

  • Account information supplied through Google and Supabase, such as your name, email address, account identifier, and sign-in timestamps.
  • Purchase and license records, including the selected plan and game, payment status, license status, activation timestamps, and privacy-preserving device identifiers. Trew Hosting does not receive or store full card numbers.
  • Support tickets and replies you choose to send, including their subject, category, message, status, and timestamps.
  • Shared-access records such as access codes, assigned roles, server display information, approved commands, and security activity needed to operate collaboration features.
  • Limited security and reliability data, including request rate-limit records and aggregated page-view counts. Website page views are grouped by day and path, are not stored as individual browsing profiles, and are not recorded when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
03

How we use information

  • Provide customer sign-in, purchases, license activation and recovery, billing access, support, updates, and shared server controls.
  • Protect accounts and services from abuse, duplicated activation, forged requests, unsafe commands, and excessive traffic.
  • Operate and improve the reliability of the storefront and application using aggregated service information.
  • Send purchase, support, account, and security messages that are necessary to provide the service.
04

Services that help us operate

Trew Hosting uses service providers only for the work needed to run the product. These currently include Google and Supabase for account sign-in, Stripe for checkout and billing, Cloudflare and OpenAI Sites for website delivery and hosted data, Resend for transactional email, GitHub for signed application releases, and approved game-content providers such as Modrinth and CurseForge for catalog searches. Those providers process data under their own policies.

05

Sharing and remote access

Trew Hosting does not sell personal information. When a host grants shared access, approved account and server-state information is relayed so the invited person can use the permissions selected by the host. The host computer must remain online for live controls. Access can be revoked by the host, and license keys, operating-system passwords, worlds, and complete server folders are not disclosed through the collaboration interface.

06

Retention and security

We keep account, purchase, license, support, and security records only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. We use encrypted connections, signed license entitlements, request validation, rate limits, restricted administrative access, and server-side secret storage. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should also protect their Google account, device, backups, and access codes.

07

Your choices

You can sign out, revoke shared access, deactivate a device where supported, use your browser's Do Not Track setting, and contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of account information. Some purchase, fraud-prevention, and legal records may need to be retained. The service is not directed to children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product or its providers change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented on the website or in the application when practical. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@trewhosting.com.
